Some Tips for the New Year

Byron White: Welcome everyone to the last show of the year, this year in 2006. We’re here to chat today about New Year’s resolutions. Melanie, are you there? Melanie Nayer: I am here, making my list. Byron: So, gosh, I’m sure that you have a long list of New Year’s resolutions, Melanie. Just kidding. Melanie: …because I didn’t do so well…oh, please. Byron: No. We’re all excited to chat today really about tips on New Year’s resolutions and maybe perusing some of the common everyday top New Year’s resolutions. So, let’s dive right in and we’ve got a guest speaker that’s going to chime in with us in a little bit here. Melanie, I did a little homework for the show today. Melanie: Byron, I’m so proud of you. Byron: As I always do. Learned a couple of things that I think you might find interesting regarding some of the most common New Year’s resolutions. As I was looking over this list that I was digging on Google and trying to find some good data, sure enough, most of the things on here at one point in my long life, the many years I’ve been on this planet, some of these resolutions, most of them actually, have popped on my radar screen. Which makes me think, “Are we just recycling New Year’s resolutions here? What’s really going on?” So, here’s a list for you of some of the most common New Year’s resolutions.
