    The more consumers can do with devices, the more they depend on their devices to do even more. A recent Deloitte survey on mobile consumer trends highlights just how "obsessed" people have become with their devices. In the U.S. alone a whopping 90% of respondents check their phone in the first hour of being awake, and across the other 22 countries fielded in the survey the findings are similar.

    People, particularly Millennials get depressed or suffer extreme anxiety attacks if they are separated from the mobile devices for even just short periods of time…the average person looks at their mobile phone 150 times per day. All these numbers add up to tell us we have a close relationship with our mobile phones - for assistance, advice, entertainment, information everything which is why brand marketers are desperate to get in on the action. But will consumers let them in in? How can they connect with people on these fiercely personal devices and - more important - how can they add value?
