WebmasterRadio.FM Marketing to Women radio series Purse Strings, hosted by Carmichael Lynch Spong senior principal Maria Reitan, was awarded for best podcast/videocast at the 2011 PR News Platinum PR Awards. Reitan accepted the award at the annual awards luncheon Wednesday in New York City. "Each and every week, I'm fortunate to speak with thought leaders in the marketing to women space who are connecting their brands and their products with the nation's most powerful consumer in powerful and compelling ways." said Reitan. "I learn so much from our conversations and I hope my listeners do too. Done well, 'marketing to women' s really about "connecting with women.'" The PR News Platinum PR Awards salutes the years most outstanding communications initiatives and programs in the highly competitive and dynamic PR arena. Purse Strings (which was officially nominated as Carmichael Lynch Spong with WebmasterRadio.FM - Untying the Purse Strings of Americas Most Powerful Consumer) beat out finalists that included the Chrysler Group and the American Society for Microbiology.
