Purse Strings Presents Interviews on Huge Household Brands and Female Diversity.
Purse Strings, our weekly marketing to women radio series, is in the middle of featuring several high profile radio interviews with ties to PepsiCo and The Coca-Cola Company, but the discussions do not involve soft drinks. On a recent episode of Purse Strings, host Maria Reitan spoke with the Director of Digital Initiatives at PepsiCo Jamie Stein. Stein spoke to us about the formation of the The PepsiCo Womens Inspiration Network, an interactive network offering global female perspective and idea sharing from leaders, innovators and real women around the world. The network shares a behind-the-scenes look at events, interviews with experts across a variety of topics, and discuss trends to spark ideas and forge connections. Maria asked Jamie in the July 26th interview why PepsiCo launched WIN, whether it has made a difference in business and sales. "It is definitely a hallmark network and a case study on how to talk to your brands as a portfolio with women online in a very intimate way." Reitan said. Purse Strings will follow that interview with a live broadcast on Tuesday August 16th at 3pm Eastern Time with Jeffery Tobias Halter, President of YWomen and author of the book, Selling to Men, Selling to Women. Jeffery is the former Director of Diversity Business Development for The Coca-Cola Company. Halter will speak about how organizations need to arm their sales people with the critical need of selling across gender and the significant role of gender communications in the selling process.
